Position Summary:


We are looking for a Business Development Officer to play a pivotal role in ZINC Financials' continued success. This individual will be responsible for crafting compelling business proposals for both existing and prospective customers. The Business Development Officer will also be entrusted with the task of evaluating our customer base and existing sales strategies to uncover opportunities for sales growth. This role is ideally suited for candidates with a background in sales and real estate, who possess a strong analytical mindset and the motivation to excel.




Key Responsibilities:


Analyze the current customer base, including portfolios and contacts, to identify potential sales opportunities.

Cold calling and email campaigns to potential leads and self generating loan originations through our loan program offering.

Cultivate robust relationships with customers, external business contacts, and internal stakeholders.

Review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to customers and stakeholders.

Develop and test innovative business strategies and concepts.

Collaborate with colleagues across sales, marketing, and product development teams to enhance overall customer experience and satisfaction.

Stay current on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions.

Elevate overall sales efficiency and profitability through exceptional salesmanship.



Qualification Questions:


Have you originated business-purpose, fix and flip, DSCR, and construction loans? If so, please provide details on the number of loans and duration of experience. Can you share a breakdown of your track record by month, quarter, or year?

Have you built and managed a team to originate loans?

How many team members have you recruited, trained, and mentored, and over what time frame?

What were their production targets, and how did you recruit, train, and manage them?

Can you provide a track record?

What was your and your team's overall production in terms of loan volume and dollar volume on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis?



Compensation and Benefits:


Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: Negotiable ($100k - $400k)

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement Plan, Paid Holidays, PTO


This is a remote, 1099 commission only position that can either be part time or full time, with the opportunity to move to W2 salary plus commission plus benefits once 3 transactions are closed. Our top loan officers make over $400,000 per year, average year one income full time $105,000.
